I really like making these popup cards

 or card in a box!

This is for a friend's 50th birthday!

A popup valentine for my Hubby

Happy Valentine's Day!!

2016

 

I made this using

 Spellbinders scallop popup box die .

  I cut clear plastic strips to hold the balloons

so that they wiggle when opened!

You can use a 2 liter bottle for that too. Just cut vertically.

 I used my Cricut to design my balloons:

the star, hearts and oval ones and cut the word love on the front

I used a nesting heart die for the side hearts and a

die for the butterflies as well. <3

Card for my Granddaughter's 13th b-day!

My granddaughter Stephanie loves music and drama

so this is what I made for her 13th Birthday!

I wrapped it in a scrapbook paper on the form of an envelope

on the back I put a cut out glittered  heart sticker

part Cricut creation and I am learning how to ink

 

I saw a card with the same embossed cross had to try something like it!

I watched a video how to ink with an embossed  folder.

Very pleased with this no sentiment inside yet. 

 

I had another card here like this with less flowers

decided to redo it and add more flowers I purchased .

 

 I cut the green flourishes with Cricut

 I am learning to use my Big Shot for embossing.

Inking is another art LOL

I used ink on the folder embossing and the

 edges of the cross and the card edges. 

 

 

 

A thank you note with special dies

I tried out my new Spellbinders A2 Scalloped Boarder One dies

 for special edging!

  and used and embosser folder for the top

 punched the edges on the corners, added some ribbon on the side

used a "thank you" words cut from my Cricut

 I have not done the inside yet.

I like how it turned out!

The front

I see little boo boos here and there but still trying to learn.

I cut the star out on the Cricut and the black backing as well

then places it on top of a white A6 card.

( I used a black cardstock to take the photo)

 

 

my friend Cherianne is a missionary to Kenya, Africa

 where we served with her in January 2015

Her mission ministry is named

S.T.A.R. Global Ministries"

 meaning "Save, Trained, Anointed and Released"

her daughter always said "Be the Star the you are! "
